REDWOOD LUMBER AND SHINGLES
FROM PRE-CONSUMER RECYCLED LOGS.
The color is the same as if the tree had been freshly fallen and milled, but without the sapwood. But due to the high grain count, 25 - 40 grains per inch, the color is darker than other redwood on the market.

INQUIRIES SETH @ RECYCLEDREDWOOD.COM
We have a digital camera to
'show' you any wood that you may want to see.
With a small mill such as ours, we will seldom have what you are
looking for in stock. It is also very difficult to represent
salvage old growth lumber because of the particular defects that
old growth redwood acquires while laying on the ground for 50
years. These defects seldom affect the function of the piece of
wood, but it sure affects the appearance. Now technology comes to
aid with digital photography that we can email to you or post on
our website just what we have for sale. For example, take a look
at the grain count on this approximately 2" vertical view of
endgrain of a 6 x 6.
Or how about this rot that grows in a log but not in a board. Cedar call it 'pecky'.
